Paro Valley with Rinpung Dzong

Paro is a charming town nestled in the heart of the Paro Valley and serves as the administrative center of Paro District in western Bhutan. Steeped in history, the town is dotted with revered temples, ancient monasteries, and significant cultural landmarks that reflect Bhutan’s rich spiritual heritage. Paro is also home to the country’s only international gateway—Paro International Airport—which connects Bhutan to the outside world.
