The Education Sector of Paro Dzongkhag Administration develops and implements multi-year and annual education plans, supports schools with teacher deployment, training, infrastructure, and supplies, and oversees student placements, counseling, and co-curricular programs to ensure quality learning outcomes.
- Preparation of 5-year plans and annual plans of Education Sector
- Implementation of national education plans and policies
- Initiate and consolidate planning for school development programs
- Provide professional support to schools
- Organize school level, cluster level, and Dzongkhag level in-service training programs/conferences/workshops
- Monitoring and evaluation of the performance of principals and teachers
- Carry out students’ placements for classes IX and XI
- Proper teacher deployment
- Student counseling and guidance
- School infrastructure development and maintenance
- Mobilize budgetary and financial support
- School supplies
- Promotion of programs like scouting, cultural games and sports
- Managing Student Winter Vacation Programs
- Managing School agriculture programs
- Monitoring NFE programs
- Socially Useful Productive Works
- Facilitate implementation of curriculum and provide feedback to CAPSS
