Brief Background on the Institute:

Shaba Higher Secondary School is located in Bara village under Shaba gewog, Paro. The school was established on May 8th, 2003 and was funded by World Bank. It is a day school located 13 km south of Paro town. It served the community as a middle secondary school for thirteen years. It was up graded to Shaba Higher Secondary School from the year 2017. It has a total area of 10.35 acres. The school provides educational services to the children of Bonday, Zhegno, Denkha, Bara, Issuna and RBA, Shaba. Mr. Sherab Phuntsho (2003-2006) was the first principal of the school.
